Veteran's, your VA Funding can cover up to 100% of your tuition to train at Alchemy.
Using your veteran benefits to be part of our Software Development Training program is a great way to accelerate your transition to a new career in tech.
While the GI Bill has traditionally been used to attend a two- or four-year college, our program is only six months. Plus, our grads have a high success rate of securing new jobs with excellent starting salaries, so your time investment pays off faster.
The program at Alchemy Code Lab is approved to accept VA Benefits for enrollment of those eligible to receive benefits under Title 38 and Title 10, USC, and approved by the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs State Approving Agency to accept:
- Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Ch. 33)
- Montgomery GI Bill® (Ch. 30)
- Select Reserve GI Bill® (Ch. 1606)
- REAP GI Bill® (Ch. 1607)
- Dependents Educational Assistance (DEA) (Ch. 35)
Transitioning to a new career after military service can be challenging, but we are here to help. Our admissions director can walk you through the application process, and we will help onboard you so that you start strong and finish stronger.
Plus, the skills and experience you gained in military training can be an asset for your new career in software development. Learning to code is tactical and engaging. You’ve also already honed important skills like discipline and being part of a team which will serve you as you interview in the tech industry.
Unlike online courses or intro-level code skills, Alchemy Code Lab will prepare you for mid-level jobs in tech. Our Career Services team will work with you to create a resume and interview strategy that leverages your military experience to be a strong candidate in your job search.
