Sweetest Holiday Party Ever!

Crafting for a Cause

Last Friday we celebrated the holidays with the whole Alchemy community: current, past, and future students, plus our industry partners and team, all via Zoom.

While we usually throw a happy hour bash at the Lab, we had to rise to this year's virtual challenge.

So we decided to make it extra sweet!

Sweet Company

The people make the party, and we were excited to see Alchemy alumni come back to their old stomping grounds (well, virtually at least) to mix with current students and even several future students starting in our 2021 cohorts.

Our instructors, career services, and admissions teams also love the opportunity to hang out with Alchemists outside the classroom structure.

Sweet Cookies

The first 50 people got cookie decorating kits, and we were blown away by the creativity!

From abstract art cookies to geometric designs, it was just one more reminder that Alchemists are multidimensional and creative both behind and beyond the screen.

Above all, it was some much deserved FUN. Check out these favorites from our Slack channel!

Sweet Animals

We also had a virtual tour of Sweet Farm, the first non-profit sanctuary in the world to address the global impacts of factory farming across animals, the plants and the planet.

They even partner with innovative start-ups in the humane and sustainable technology sectors to provide them with a diverse range of support, including access to funding, expanded networking, mentorship, product showcases and promotion.

You can tour the farm and support their work here!

Happy Holidays to you from the entire Alchemy community!
